These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the frame:work Video Community and the Corporate Partner. By clicking “I agree,” submitting payment, executing an order form, or otherwise enrolling in Corporate Partnership, Corporate Partner agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Commitment
frame:work is committed to creating a professional community that is welcoming, inclusive, and free from harassment. We believe respectful collaboration is essential to advancing creative and technical practice in the creative video industry.This Code of Conduct applies to all participants in frame:work activities, including members, speakers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, staff, and guests.
2. Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all frame:work spaces and activities, including but not limited to:
- In-person events, conferences, workshops, and social gatherings;
- Online events, forums, and meetings;
- Community platforms (e.g., website, Discord, Slack, email lists, livestream chats);
- One-on-one interactions that occur within the context of frame:work activities.
3. Expected Behavior
All participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and professionalism;
- Communicate thoughtfully across differences of background, experience, and perspective;
- Be mindful of how words, actions, and behavior affect others;
- Respect physical, personal, and professional boundaries;
- Support a culture of learning, curiosity, and constructive dialogue;
Community leaders, moderators, speakers, and organizers are held to the same standards as all participants.
4. Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment is not tolerated in any form.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Offensive verbal or written comments related to:
Gender, gender identity or expression
Age
Sexual orientation
Disability
Physical appearance or body size
Race, ethnicity, nationality
Religion
Technology choices or professional background - Sexual images or content in public or shared spaces without consent;
- Deliberate intimidation, threats, stalking, or following;
- Harassing photography, recording, or screenshots;
- Sustained disruption of talks, discussions, or events;
- Inappropriate physical contact;
- Unwelcome sexual attention or advances;
- Any other conduct that a reasonable person would consider inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive to the community environment.
Participants asked to stop any harassing or disruptive behavior must comply immediately. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal or termination.
5. Reporting Concerns
If you experience harassment, witness harassment, or have concerns about behavior within the frame:work community, we encourage you to report it as soon as possible.
Reports may be made to:
- A frame:work director
- Any member of the frame:work board of directors
- An event organizer or staff member
Contact information for founders and community leaders is available on the frame:work website or through official event communications. Reports will be handled with discretion and care. While anonymity cannot always be guaranteed, frame:work will make reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of those involved. frame:work is not obligated to conduct a formal investigation or disclose the outcome of any report.
6. Response and Enforcement
frame:work reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action it deems appropriate, with or without prior notice including, but not limited to:
- Verbal or written warnings;
- Temporary suspension from community spaces or events;
- Removal from an event without refund;
- Termination of membership;
- Exclusion from future frame:work activities;
7. Safety and Support at In-Person Events
At in-person events, frame:work organizers and moderators will assist participants who feel unsafe by:
- Helping contact venue security or local authorities when appropriate
- Providing support or accompaniment within the event environment
- Taking reasonable steps to address immediate safety concerns
Participants are expected to follow this Code of Conduct at all event venues and at event-related social activities. This Code of Conduct may also apply to behavior occurring outside of frame:work activities where such behavior negatively impacts the safety, integrity, or reputation of the frame:work community.
8. Retaliation
Retaliation against individuals who report concerns or participate in an investigation is not tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
9. A Living Policy
This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically to reflect community needs and best practices. The most current version will be published on the frame:work website.
